We were leaning to write and create a speech, we had to:
- Eye contact
- Be heard at the back of the room
- Speak fluently and clearly varying the pitch and pace
- Use our voice for effect - to gain attention - to make a point - to communicate emotion.
- Hold the audience's attention and have some humour
